Helicopter Surveys allow the landowner/manager to determine:

Deer Population:

1. Buck to Doe Ratio
2. Fawn Production
3. Antler Development of Bucks
4. Distribution of Animals on Ranch
5. Vegetative Condition of Ranch
6. Location of Deer for Harvest

Predator Population:

1. Coyotes
2. Coyote/dog crosses
3. Bobcats
4. Feral hogs
5. Red fox

Fowl:
1. Water Fowl
2. Prairie Chickens

A SkyView Helicopters’ survey can be extremely valuable to landowners or managers that do not have the time to conduct spotlight surveys and herd composition counts.

If you are considering a new hunting lease, let SkyView Helicopters survey the properties wildlife. (Must have land owners permission)

Before an aerial survey can be conducted a “Landowners Authorization Form” must be filled out prior to the day of the survey, and a “Landowner Permit” must be issued by Texas Parks and Wildlife. We will handle all of the needed forms and permits.
